Peoria skyline at night!

Monday morning greetings to all!

With the weather starting to turn for the better (lower humidity and temperatures), it’s getting to be time to start shooting some fall photos outside. We’re still a few weeks away from the leaves turning at their peak, but this weather is making for better outside shots! Here’s a quick snap of the Peoria skyline from last week!

I’ve got another crazy rocking week and after working all weekend, I’m ready for a vacation! Oh, I forgot I was just on vacation, oh well!!!!!!

Thanks as always and have a great week!!!!

Back on the road!!!!

Rainy Nebraska Monday morning greetings!

Thanks to everyone that made it out to the studio party last Friday night!!!! I think that everyone had a great time and we still have a few refreshments leftover (which I’ll do my best to consume in the coming months).

I’ll be out in Nebraska this week shooting at the “Husker Days” farm show in Grand Island, Nebraska. The weather looks to be good (70’s and sunny) and that will be great!!!! I was shooting at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Il. a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty darn hot. It wasn’t as hot as Dubai was back in July, but almost 100 degrees and humid (ouch) and that’s a bit toasty!!!!!!!!

Here’s a quick snap from my trip back from New Mexico last Tuesday afternoon at O’Hare Airport in Chicago.

Are you ready for some football?

Monday morning greetings to all,

It’s that time of year when football is starting here in the U.S. and it’s a glorious time of year in my book!!!!! The high school kids have been playing for a few weeks and the college games start Thursday night! The NFL starts playing a week from Thursday and it’s going to be great!!!!!!!

I started shooting for a new client a few months ago; Schutt Sports is based here in Illinois and makes all kinds of equipment for sports like football and baseball (among other products). We’ve been shooting some of their products here in the studio and for one of the shots we wanted to do some dramatic lighting with one of the football helmets.

Believe it or not, but next weekend is Labor Day weekend!!!!! Where did the summer go? Oh well!!!!!!!! Be safe this weekend if you and those that you love and care about will be traveling!!!!!!!

Thanks as always and have a great week!!!

Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

Monday morning greetings from Atlanta,

I was down here this weekend on a very quick trip (a little business and a little pleasure) and it was great to be back in one of my favorite cities!!!!!!!! Things were a little toasty, but still not as hot as the fun I had in Dubai last month!!!!!

I’ve just started looking through some of the 10,000 plus photos that I shot on my world shoot and it’s amazing how many of the shots that I forgotten about shooting because of all that we saw and did. Here’s one of my favorite shots of the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club and as you can see from this shot, it was a perfect night!!!!!

Have a great week because you know I will!!!!!

“Let’s play two!”

Monday morning greetings to all!!!!!!!

I was down in St. Louis over the weekend and had the pleasure of catching a ball game (Cardinals vs Dodgers) at the “new” Busch stadium. I have to tell you that they really did a nice job on the ballpark with some old school architecture and a lot of the new school comfort!!!! The view of the St. Louis skyline is incredible and I can only imagine how great it looks at night!!!!!!!

Stay cool this week, it’s going to be another hot one!!!!!!

As easy as riding a bike…

Hot and humid Monday morning greetings from Pioneer Park!!!!!!

You’ve probably heard the phrase “It’s as easy as riding a bike”. Well, for some kids it’s not always that easy. I was helping out my friends at Easter Seals last week and there is a program called “Lose the training wheels” that helps kids get over their fears or limitations of riding a bicycle. The program takes one week and when they start, they are using bikes like the one in the first shot. By Friday, they are up on a “real” bike and it’s completely amazing to see the progress that they have made in just one week!!!!!!!!!

Thanks as always for checking out my snaps and stay cool this week!!!!!!

Nyon, Switzerland

Monday morning greetings to all,

This past weekend I started to look though some of my snaps from my most recent shoot this past month and I’ll be looking for a long time!!! I can’t believe how many thousands and thousands of images that there are and it’s going to take awhile to view them all. I’ll have to work on one of my slideshows and condense it down a bit!!!

Here’s a quick panoramic from Nyon, Switzerland. If you’re ever in the area, it’s well worth a visit. The town is very cool and right on Lake Geneva as you can see in my snap. We stopped here for some dinner after a long day of shooting and we arrived at the perfect time for photos!

There’s always more to come, so have a great week!!!!!!
