Overcast Monday morning greetings to all!!!!! Green grass and flowers blooming here in Peoria is still at least a month away (Damn),  but I got to experience a little spring in Memphis last week and it was great!  It’s mentally so rejuvenating to see some life outdoors and let’s you know that winter is almost over! Here’s a little slice of spring for my friends here in Peoria and those in parts farther north!!!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day greetings to all,
I was finally able to get back on our Peoria time zone a couple days ago (sleep wise that is) and that was great!  There’s a 14 hour time zone difference between Peoria and Hong Kong,  so day becomes night!
Here’s a quick snap (this is a 360 degree view for those that care about such things) of one of the shopping districts in Hong Kong a week ago on a very busy Friday night!

Early Monday morning greetings from back home in Peoria!!!!!
I made it back safe and sound from my Asia shoot and as always,  it was another interesting shoot!  We saw some amazing sights in Thailand and again in Hong Kong and being there makes me want to go back again at some point down the road!
For the time being I don’t have any road trips planned,  so I’ll be hanging out here in Peoria and that won’t be all bad!
Here’s a quick couple of snaps from Thailand.  The gentleman was doing some Tai Chi in a park in Bangkok and the little boy was at one of the facilities that we were shooting at .

Monday morning greetings from Bangkok!

I’ve been over here in Thailand for three days now on a shoot and it’s been great so far! We shot for a couple of days and then had an off day on Sunday and were able to get around the city a little bit and see some of the sights and that was a lot of fun. We’ve got a couple more days of shooting here in Thailand before heading to Hong Kong for the second leg of the shoot on Wednesday!

Here’s a quick shot of the city of Bangkok from last night!!!!!

Cold dreary Monday morning greetings to all!!!!!

I’m back from Mustique and indeed that island is paradise!!!! Anytime you can get out of Central Illinois in the middle of winter and head anywhere that’s warmer (even 50 degrees), it makes the winter go a little bit faster!!!!

Here’s one more snap from Mustique and this will make most of us in colder climates think of spring and summer!

Sunny warm tropical Caribbean Monday morning greetings to all!!!!

Some days I have a dirty thankless job. Fortunately for me, today is not one of those days!!!!!!!

Before I get too much grief for this, I’m the most blessed person that you’ll ever meet!!!!!!

This all started early last week when I got a call from a client wanting to know if I could fly down here to the Caribbean for a shoot this week. It probably took shorter than a nanosecond for me to say yes! We flew down yesterday morning leaving Peoria and the -25 below zero wind chills to arrive here in St. Vincent 12 hours later and it was actually a little warm when we got off the plane. Of course I solved the problem of being too hot with some of my favorite cold adult beverages and the world was right once again!

OK, now you can let me have it!!!!!! I’ll just have to live with the daggers that are coming!!!!!!!

Foggy Monday morning greetings!

Whenever I’m watching a big game like yesterday’s Super Bowl, I usually root for the underdog in the game. Since my beloved Chicago Bears were hopelessly out of contention to even make the playoffs, I was rooting for the underdog N.Y. Giants. All I can say about that was, “What a game”!!!!!!! Most SB’s are blowouts by halftime, but that game yesterday had me on the edge of my seat to the very end!!!!! Wow!!!!!!

On to photography! I was shooting some shots last week of the OSF Life Flight helicopter and some of the different flight nurses. We did the shoot in the hanger with a bunch of lights and really had fun coming away with a pretty dramatic shot!!!!!
