Winter is officially here. Yikes!!!!!!!!

Snowy Peoria Monday morning greetings to all,

Yes, winter is here in Peoria and I’m completely depressed! Oh well!!!!

In light of that, I’ve got a slideshow that will warm you up! Here’s a link from my Hawaii trip in October and this might make that winter day feel a little less hostile! There’s a new feature on Youtube at the bottom right of the viewer that says “Watch in high quality” for those that want to see this in a little higher definition.

Thanks as always and let’s all have a great week despite the weather!

Sunny Monday morning greetings to all!

It’s a short week with Thanksgiving on Thursday and I have a feeling that things are going to be very slow at a lot of places with people taking off early (or already gone)!

I was out last week freezing my butt off to try and get a shot of the new section of the Peoria Civic Center. As you can see, everything worked out great!

If you’re traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, travel safe and make it back home in one piece!!!!!

Have a great Thanksgiving week!!!!!!

Thanksgiving is almost here!

Monday morning Peoria greetings to all!

I really can’t believe that a week from Thursday is Thanksgiving! Wow!!!! This year has just gone by at a frenetic pace and it seems like it was just a couple of weeks ago when I rode my bike out to New Mexico to see my folks. Of course that was over the 4th of July, so this year has rocketed by!

If you’re traveling this coming weekend for the Thanksgiving week, be safe and have a great time with family and friends!!!!

Thanks as always and have an outstanding week!!!!!!!

A tale of two cities!!!!!!

Peoria Monday 22 degree morning greetings to all,

Two Saturday’s ago, I was standing on the Banzai Pipeline Beach in Oahu shooting photos of surfers. It was 85 degrees and sunny! I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts! It was very nice!!!!!!!

This past Saturday I was in Dunlap, Illinois shooting pictures of a high school playoff football game. It was gloomy and 35 degrees (with the wind chill in the mid 20’s). I was wearing insulated coveralls, a hooded jacket, a sweatshirt and insulated boots! It was not so nice and I was freezing my butt off.

I want to go back to Hawaii!!!!!

Have a great week as always!!!!!

The last night in Hawaii, now it’s back to Illinois!

Monday morning greetings to all,

Good morning from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and we’ve flown all night (and man our arms are tired) and are waiting for the plane back to Peoria this morning.

What a great time was had these past couple of weeks in Hawaii and now it’s back to work and that’s never a bad thing in my case! There will be lot’s of photos (200 plus gigabytes of photos) to look through, but it will be fun!

Here’s the last nights sunset from Honolulu, Waikiki, and Diamond Head!!!!!

I’m looking forward to coming back once again and I won’t wait thirty years to do so!!!!

Have a great week as always!!!

Kev

P.S. My Central Illinois friends can thank me for today’s 70 degree temps that I brought back from Hawaii! Aloha!!!!!!!!

Lamborghini in Hawaii

Sunny Monday morning Kona Hawaii greetings to all,

If you know me at all, you know that I have a love and passion for Italian Super cars!!!! If I see a Italian Bull (Lamborghini) or an Italian Stallion (Ferrari) on the hood of a car, I go ga-ga. I’m usually reduced to the vocabulary of a three year old, “ooh” or “ah”!!!!!!

On Sunday morning, I arrived at the Punalu’u beach and what did I see, a Lamborghini Gallardo!!!!!!!! Life doesn’t get much better then that!!!!

Now if I can only convince my accountant that I need one of these wonderfully fabulous super cars for the Kev May Corporation company cars!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!

Have a great week!!!!! I’ve got a Lamborghini to chase!!!!!!

Honolulu Sunset

Sunny Monday morning greetings to all,

It’s been about 30 years since I was last in Hawaii and I have to tell you that it’s as beautiful as I remember it! Here’s a quick snap of the Honolulu skyline and I think it looks pretty spectacular!!!!!!! On the left of the shot is Diamond Head, in the center is Waikiki and on the right is Honolulu.

Thanks as always for checking out my work and I hope that you have a great week!!!!!

Aloha!!!!!!

Harvest Sunset

Peoria Monday morning greetings to all!

It’s getting to be that time of year here in the Midwest where the farmers are out harvesting and because of that, we tend to get better sunsets with all of the particulates in the air!

As always, have an outstanding week!!!!!!

Craig Morgan and Kev

Cloudy Monday morning greetings to all,

Last week I had one of those shoots that’s always fun and one that you really look forward to.  I was down in Tennessee shooting some photos of country music star Craig Morgan.  Craig has a home and farm about an hour from Nashville and we were able to spend the morning shooting some photos of him around the property.  He couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating,  so it really made things easy and fun working with him.

If you’d like to see more about Craig and his music,  here’s a link to his web site.  http://www.craigmorgan.com/

Thanks as always for checking out my snaps and have a great week!!!
