Tuesday morning greetings to one and all!!
It was Presidents Day here in the U.S. yesterday and some of us were working and others had the day off! It’s one of those holidays where you’re not exactly sure if people are working or not! The kids were out of school and the USPS wasn’t delivering the mail, but the garbage got picked up! It’s all good! I know if I were still a kid, I would have been out sledding all day on a vacation day like that with the snow that we had over the weekend here in Central Illinois.
One of the fun things that we got to do while we were out in Golden, Co. a few weeks ago for our annual mining certification training was being able to hang out with some of our good friends for a day or two. We always have a great time when we go out there and it’s not that we are always doing super exciting things, but it’s the time that we get to spend having fun! It’s become a tradition that at some point during our stay we will try to shoot a family photo of Sharon and Ernie and their two dogs, Sophie and Chu-Chu. On this past trip, it was a little snowy and we decided to just shoot some photos of the dogs out in the snow playing fetch and burning off some energy. It’s always fun to watch them both chasing the tennis balls and racing around. Usually after about 15 or so minutes of this both dogs have had enough, so mission accomplished! The biggest challenge to getting some good photos of them is that they are racing around, so we end up shooting a ton of photos and throwing away about 95% of them because they are out of focus or blurry! It still makes it a lot of fun when you get a few shots that are really spot on having all the elements coming together!
Here’s a few snaps of Sophie and Chu-Chu out playing in the snow!
It’s time to get to work, so we hope that you have a great week and thanks for checking out our work!!!
